I think this is a chart that clearly shows the additional work that women are putting in the US economy along with (likely) still doing a larger than male counterpart commitment toward child-rearing in terms of time contribution.
Interestingly, the recent recession has hit men harder than women, one thing this chart does is give a lot to ponder!
